Opua to Assassination Cove, BOI

This morning we cast off lines at Opua Marina where we saw out the winter of 2022. We departed the marina mid-tide but with little tidal flow. We motor sailed around TaPeka Point arriving at our anchorage by midday.

Everything went to plan, although the windless deck switches were dead (even though we checked them yesterday and they were fine!), thankfully the windless switch at the engine control panel worked - so no worries. Will check deck switches tomorrow - perhaps it is the thermal circuit breaker located forward.

Anchored 60 m out from the apex of the bay in approximately 5 m of water depth. Wireless Nation (rural broadband) coverage is excellent here and we have two bars of 2Degrees mobile coverage.
