Sailing Te Tāiko

Hi! We're Adam and Vicki.

We're excited you've found our site and we would like to take this opportunity to welcome you. Before we invite you to look around, we better introduce ourselves.

We live in Aotearoa New Zealand and we both share a love for travelling. On a holiday to Aitutaki in the Cook Islands, we booked a sailing trip with Sailing Aitutaki and we soon realised that it was possible to travel more but we could take our home with us. Brilliant!

After trying a couple of different sailing yachts, we bought Te Tāiko, a 40 ft sailing vessel in 2021. She was going to be our new home. Tāiko's amazing, she's our home, our workplace, and our vehicle for travel allowing us to see many of New Zealand's northern anchorages and soon destinations offshore. Along the way, we've learned a lot about ourselves, had many challenges but as many rewards.

Now that you know a bit more about us, we invite you to explore our website where you can access content such as our YouTube videos and blogs documenting some moments of our journey.

Thanks for stopping by!
